Amayzine

To be precise, this is Look of the Day number 548. A lot. My mailbox fills up every day with nice (and less nice, pardon) outfits. The coolest ones go to the designer, who puts them in the Look of the Day jacket, I add a little text and then the post is scheduled to appear on the site every day around 8 AM. If I don't have anything ready, the editorial team often hears me say: ‘May you have a lookie? a lookie? ”, “People, wear something nice tomorrow.”, “So, I'm going out for a LOTD piece” and “Who should I ask for a few photos?”

Starting tomorrow, I will step down from the Look of the Day throne. That sounds heavier than it is, because there are fun new sections being created for me. I'm working on a pretty cool project, which I will tell you all about soon, and Amayzine is getting bigger, so we will have more fun girls writing for us and shooting lookies. So, if you think you look very Amayzine-proof or want to recommend someone, you can now email info@amayzine.com. We guarantee nothing, but if we really like you, you will get a spot on the site.

Okay, back to my outfit. I'm wearing shorts and a black top from H&M, which arrived this week by mail (I'm a huge online shopper). My tights are from Wolford, preferably no other brand, because these are just the best. In that store, you can also buy white gloves to put on your tights so you definitely don't get any hooks or holes. I should consider that; I could save a lot of money with that. The leather jacket I bought from Goosecraft and the boots are ancient, given to me by a friend who, mind you, were just hers, but because I asked so often to borrow them, I eventually got to keep them. Around my neck is my name, made somewhere by a goldsmith in De Pijp around the corner from my house, and I have been wearing those other letters as close to my heart as possible recently. That was it.
