Look, I have already been able to see quite a few bags. Fun, because it feeds my curious nature and also broadens my make-up horizon. After just one day of being a beauty editor, it was clear: I still have a lot to learn. Luckily, there was doctor Josselin, who almost immediately gave me a lecture about BB, shapers, brushes. From that moment on, I was already eyeing her envy-inducing make-up bag: a huge Chanel that exudes expertise. As if you suddenly stand in Diane von Furstenberg's wardrobe. Do you get what I mean? Joss: “I love that my toiletry bag is an enormous fun package. Yes, I sometimes receive some items, but I have a favorite for everything. And those favorites have gathered. I really can't do without Estée's CC, even though I find it quite pricey. But hey, you have to invest in the basics. Due to my fetish for perfect lashes, I have about six different mascaras, and I won't leave the house without the eyebrow pencil from Hema. And I can't forget the Météorites from Guerlain; sacred. Really, I'm in love with my toiletry bag.‘ Oh Joss, please don't let me fall in love too.
The chance that I become smitten is quite large. I'm not getting one, but two bags to ‘borrow’. Like a true treasure hunter, I dig through both specimens. What a beautiful stuff! I first stumble upon the BB Cream from Garnier and the CC cream from Estée. These kinds of creams are really a signature for Joss, I already knew that. Of course, she also has a sunscreen and it's the best from Sisley, smart ass that she is. I find a very nice smelling jar from Guerlain, called Météorites. I’m falling for you Joss, stop it. Then I come across various brushes, one of which is from Hema. Nice to see that Joss has products from different price categories. Joss already said it, she is a mascara freak. How could it be otherwise than that she has three (!) different pieces in her bag: one from Estée, Bobbi Brown and of course the Grandiôse from Lancôme, really a classic. Speaking of classics, I naturally find the legendary concealer Touche Éclat from YSL. Almost every model uses this, did you know that? My magpie eyes also see nice M.A.C. products from Lies' favorite bag brand: Proenza Shouler. Seriously, the blush is just a work of art so beautiful. The nude nail polish I find cute. Although I initially thought it was a foundation because of the color, or something. It must have been my ignorance. The last gem I grab from the bag is the High Brow pencil from Benefit. No idea what to do with this, but I find it very exciting.
I seem to be obsessed with this bag because I want to try everything at once. Coco, take a breath and act normal. I start with the BB & CC. Unfortunately, these are too light for me. I do notice that they cover well and by the way, also smell nice. I also try all three mascaras. I don't understand why I don't get the one from Lancôme myself because it's fantastic. It really gives a full lash look and that's what I love. Of course, I use the YSL concealer, love it. Again a bit too light, but hey, the dark circles are gone in no time. Then it's the turn of the Guerlain pot. The different colors of pearls create a very nice rosy glow on my face. And although I usually prefer a brown tint, this au naturel look a la Joss suits me well. Am I becoming her new copycat? Watch out Joss! Yes, it's time for the Proenza blush. Type beauty and brains, I notice. The thing is beautifully designed but also leaves a silky soft and subtle color behind. I'm sold. We have arrived at the mysterious pencil from Benefit. What am I supposed to do with this? To avoid crooked comments like ‘what have you smeared on your head’, I decide to simply Google it: ‘An eye lift, but without cosmetic surgery!’ Hallelujah, here with that thing. I apply a line of the pencil just below the eyebrow on both sides and wow, the highlighter indeed seems to have a lifting effect. How nice can optical illusion be, right people? Satisfied, I look at the result. It actually suits me quite well, such a basic face. My lips look a bit sad, they are used to being painted with a nice color and Joss doesn't have that. Oh well, don't complain. You can survive without it for once. “This looks so much better on you, really a natural beauty.” So says my boyfriend.
Of course, I want to steal Joss's entire bag, but that's not possible. At this moment, I am brewing an ingenious plan, in which the following items have mysteriously disappeared from her make-up bag.

- The Guerlain box with powder balls
- The High Brow from Benefit
