Measuring shoe size

For dummies

On Monday I already wrote about my extremely inventive solution for the buying kids' shoes problem. But before you go online, you need to know what size to throw in your digital cart. Because kids' feet grow after all. Difficult but true.

You will need:

1. A large piece of paper

2. A pencil

3. A ruler

4. A child with feet

Here's how to proceed:

Place your child on the paper. Draw a line behind the heel and at the toe. Then measure the distance from line to line with your ruler and add 13 millimeters to that.

With the number of millimeters, go to the size chart of Omoda and see what size your child has.

And if you're in doubt just order two sizes. You can return Omoda everything for free, after all.
