SHOESHOPPING WITH KIDS
THIS IS HOW IT BECOMES EASY AND FUN
As much as I enjoy buying shoes for myself, I find it a total nightmare with my kids. Since I usually have to do this on a Saturday, the shoe stores are overcrowded. My kids run around with a different shoe on each foot (with a great talent for choosing the most eye-catching, embellished patent pair) chasing after other kids. Bumping into strollers with fresh babies or into the saleswoman who, with a sweaty upper lip, is just coming in with an enormous stack of shoeboxes from the stockroom.
I found an alternative in the form of a nice little shop in Milan. On the Corso Venezia, right in the epicenter of Fashion Week. After the Max Mara show, I rushed in March to get a summer shoe and in September a winter shoe. But my store is no longer there. So I looked for another alternative.
It became Omoda.nl. First of all, they conveniently tell you how to measure your child's size yourself. Click here just a moment, piece of cake.
You can also return shoes for free. So I just order two sizes, then you're always good. What I have chosen for this winter? Boots for everyone. I actually do this every autumn. Tights, dress, boots, and done. That saves a lot of time in the morning.
What is also so nice about Omoda.nl? You can also shop for yourself.
Now I just need to get those winter coats in time and I’m all set and ready for ‘la rentrée’.
