Designer shoes for a bargain
When the email arrived with the news that Shoebaloo was going to open an outlet, we immediately pulled out our calendars and crossed out everything that was previously scheduled and wrote in big letters “BUY SHOES”. Because Shoebaloo knows how to buy. Miu Miu, Prada, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Aquazurra, Gianvito Rossi, Fendi, Givenchy – it’s all there. And now, therefore, with a discount of at least 50%.
Together with Jet, I excitedly rode my bike to the Koningsplein. “I’m going to make an impulse purchase, I can feel it in everything,” we shouted at the top of our lungs. The doors opened at 18:00, so you can bet we were there at 17:55. Everywhere, the gems were displayed, for prices that of course still aren’t around 10 euros, but anyone who can buy a pair of Gucci boots for 250 euros is a rich and happy person. Now, the thing is, I have quite a large shoe size (41, I’ve mentioned it before so I’m getting less and less ashamed of it) and that size is often no longer available. So I picked out some pumps and cautiously asked if they had them in size kuche41kuche. There was a frantic search in the computer and then came the relieving word: no, they are no longer available.
And you know, somewhere that was also a relief. I mean, by not buying those three pumps, I earned almost 900 euros and that’s just pure profit. Jet walked around for a while with a beautiful pair of Pradas on her feet but eventually decided that they just weren’t enough Jet. Hoppa, 290 euros clean in the pocket! So if you’re in Amsterdam, definitely stop by Koningsplein 7. Because either you walk out with the most beautiful pair of shoes ever, or you walk out with bags full of money, so there are no losers here, this is what you call a real win-win. Be quick though, because the outlet is there as long as supplies last. Happy shopping!
