How did you get this beauty?

The Orange Tod’s Classic D Bag is my absolute favorite. In 2005, I traveled to New York specifically to buy it. I wanted it so badly, and it was nowhere to be found in that color, only in New York. And at that time, it wasn't so easy to just order a bag over the phone, pay for it, and have it shipped.

And at that time, it was also no way common to walk around with a bright orange bag. Certainly not in the Netherlands, but I'm just not that ‘middle of the road type’...

What does a bag do for a woman?

For me, a bag is perfect if it goes with jeans, but also with a classic outfit. It's handy as carry-on luggage when traveling, but it can also go to an exclusive restaurant.

Honestly, are you a bit careful with your bags, do you throw them in a corner or do they all sit on a shelf in a dustbag?

No way careful, I'm quite jealous of people who do that all so neatly, but on the other hand: a bag is a utility item. I often see women putting their sunglasses neatly in a case... that makes me a bit irritable.

What about the contents? Are you a chaotic person or neatly organized?

In my bag, there's a big mess, so I throw everything into a cardboard box every now and then and start over with packing.

What do you always carry in your bag?

Money, credit cards, glasses, pen, notebook, and one Feraggio shoe, always a left one. Every day I take one photo with a Feraggio, wherever I am... A kind of ‘story of the travelling shoe’.
