Oh the wonders of Instagram. If it wasn’t for that dandy little app, we would have never come across this Scottish stunner and her coveting collection of bags. Lynne Davidson, owner of Lynne’s Cake Emporium. She’s not only a talented and creative busy bee in the kitchen, she’s got a bit of a rock star edge too (and a killer wardrobe). She’s a huge movie buff and can frequently be found at concerts. We peeked through her bag to see what this girl tags along on a daily basis and which beauty you can find on her wish list.

I think I have 7, but would love to add more to my collection.

Which is your favorite and why?

My Black Balenciaga with gold hardware. It’s such a classic and I can throw just about anything in it as it’s pretty roomy. I love how the hardware gives it a bit of an edge. I’ve had it for years and never get bored of it.

How and where did you get this beauty?

I bought this one from the Balenciaga website but I’m a HUGE fan of Vestiaire Collective. I shop there all the time. You can find some amazing bargains!

What are some of the things we will always find when we take a peek in your bag?

I always carry a nude lip liner and lipstick in my bag. My favourites right now are Mac Boldly Bare and Shanghai Spice. Nars Creamy Concealer is incredible so I always have it on me for touch ups. I simply cannot live without my IPhone and I always make sure I’ve got music with me. Either my iPod or some CDs for the car. I listen to a lot of Heavy Rock and Metal. The louder the better! Avenged Sevenfold are my life!

Do you take good care of your bags or are you rather careless? (As in, do you just throw them in a corner somewhere, or do you carefully stall them somewhere in your home?)?

I’m sure I could take a lot better care of them. I usually come home and just fling them in the corner. I’m far too lazy to store them in dust bags and boxes.

And last but not least, are there any other bags we can currently find on your wish list?

The Chloe Faye is gorgeous. I saw it in a really nice Cobalt blue colour the other day. Because I live in black, a little pop of colour would make a nice change. I’ve been eyeing up a lot of blue bags recently, but when it comes to colour this is about as adventurous as I get.

Ooh people, that we didn't know Lynne for longer is a mystery to us. Maybe because she lives in Scotland (duh). There she makes the most delicious cakes and cupcakes and has built her own Lynne’s Cake Emporium. Maybe we can have her fly over sometime.

Lynne is also a big movie lover and often goes to live concerts of her favorite band (and you will never believe which one it is). We took a peek in her bag and there’s quite a lot in there. Just look.

How many designer bags do you have?
I think I have 7 now, but like every girl, I would love to add as many as possible to my collection. Unfortunately, that’s a bit unaffordable.

Be honest: are you a bit careful with your bags, do you throw them in a corner or do they all stand on a shelf in a dustbag?

To be very honest, I can really take much better care of my bags than I do at the moment. When I come home, I often throw my bag in the corner rather than store it neatly. Actually, I’m just too lazy to put my bags in dustbags every time.

The Chloé Faye is beautiful. I saw it recently in a very nice cobalt blue color and because I only wear black, a bit of color is a nice and welcome change. Lately, I’ve mainly been looking at blue bags. For some reason, I’m drawn to them, but a more adventurous color than blue is definitely not going to happen.
