How many bags do you have?
‘I have about 5 bags that I actually use. They are not all designer, you know. My first was the Alexander Wang Rockie bag, which I bought during my first “real” job after saving for a while.’
Tell me. What’s the story behind this bag? Where, when and how?
‘When I was on vacation in Cannes, I took a quick look in the Louis Vuitton boutique. When I saw this bag, it was love at first sight. At that moment, I didn't know the price yet, so I immediately walked to the checkout with this beauty. When I heard the price, I cried a little inside, but I went for it anyway. Now we live happily ever after.’
How do you handle your bag? Are you careful with it or do you throw it in a corner?
‘I am incredibly careful with this bag. I am also very good at losing things. Once, I put my bag on the floor in Zara and then went to try on clothes on another floor. It was only after 40 minutes that I hysterically realized I had forgotten my bag. Luckily, my bag was still there.’
What do you always carry in your bag?
‘In my bag, you will always find my M.A.C powder and a good lipstick or lip gloss. If I get samples of perfume, I throw them in my bag so I always have a nice scent with me. I also always carry a small notebook for the moments when I come across inspiring quotes.’
What do you think are the perfect qualities of a bag?
‘Simple and therefore suitable for any occasion. A nice quality leather and actually just big enough so that I can stuff my flat shoes in it when I've been wandering around in heels for too long.’

‘Overall, I am more of a shoe person than a bag person. But I do have a little crush on the Givenchy Pandora Bag. I love that it is so ‘different’ from all the other bags, yet still very simple and elegant.’
