Tasty, what are you doing to me?

When I turn on the TV, I always first zap to channel 29. That's 24Kitchen for me. 24Kitchen. I can easily spend half an afternoon with that. Or put me in the cookbook section and you can definitely leave me alone for an hour. And then there's something else related to food that I've slightly an addiction developed a liking for and that is the Facebook page Tasty. Goddamn, especially in these times (I'm in the process of writing a book) I really can't handle that right now.

On the page, about six recipe videos are uploaded every day. They never last longer than a minute and everything looks so damn polished and delicious. It's so incredibly entertaining to watch. Especially because you think there's already enough sugar or fat in it, and then, hop, in goes another pack of butter, a splash of cream, or a spoonful of sugar. Or when you think: well, that looks delicious, the dish must be done now, then a mountain of Parmesan is thrown on top or a thick, rich chocolate sauce. Oliebollen with Oreos, chocolate banana biscuit balls, chocolate chip brownie cheesecake, but also pastas, stuffed pumpkin, and everything as thick, big, fatty, and dripping as possible.

It's really just a Facebook page, Tasty doesn't have its own website or anything. At the bottom of the video in the comments, the recipe is written out in case you want to dive into the kitchen yourself. For me, just watching those videos is already a huge pleasure.
