THE 5 MUST-WANTS-AND-WILL-HAVES
FROM TOPSHOP UNIQUE
Last week I was invited to a Topshop Unique lunch and everything about it was pretty much perfect. The venue: Atelier Wolf, a pop-up restaurant at Amsterdam's Westerdoksplein. The company; on the left sat Simone Dernee, my lovely fashion director from Marie Claire and on the right Jordan, the PR lady from Topshop who had previously worked for years at Net-A-Porter. Speaking of nice jobs.
Then the collection. The theme was the British countryside where nature and chic blend. I was glued to the fake fur leopard-print jacket, struggled to let go of the dark blue one-piece, and was delighted by the floral prints where you can see a little bunny sitting among the blades of grass. Never before have I driven to the store the day after a press presentation to grab ‘something’ to take with me to New York.
Once in the store the shopping desire was not diminished, I must say. So for you, and also very much for me, a wish list for fall. Here they come.
