THE 5 PRIMAL WHATSAPP TYPES

When I recently mentioned at the office that we would all be speaking Chinese by now if we had spent our whatsapp time wisely, Liesbeth responded with the words: “But when am I supposed to whatsapp then?” Whatsapping has become a part of our lives. I first check the numbers from the day before from Amayzine and then go through whatsapp.
It often happens (don't tell anyone, but really not) that I go over some business deals with sales director Daniëlle while taking a bath (actually on the toilet, but I can't say that because Daan doesn't find it ’magical‘) and our Amayzine whatsapp group gets updated about Sylvie Meis's bare-bottom dress that she wore the night before. Every whatsapp group has its own fixed types that have their own role. Bet you have them too?
- The always-online type
Jet is one of those. Unless she is exercising or sleeping, she is always just a whatsapp away. You hit ‘send’ and before you know it, there appears a blue tick and you see ‘typing’. Wonderful, such certainty.
- The news hunter
That's Liesbeth for us. How she manages to write fun pieces, meet up with friends, have quality time with her cat Disco, and also keep an eye on the entire world of Instagram and Facebook is a mystery to me, but as soon as something happens in the world; Liesbeth posts it on the app.
- The emoticon monster
That's our sales director Daniëlle. She also fits very well within the description of type 1 and 2, because during the morning ritual with her two children, she calmly sends a Hollywood update, but she also takes pleasure in firmly using emoticons. By the way, the dancing little figure is a favorite.
- The shadow group member
For us, that's our dear Josselin. Never the first to crow, she observes, considers, and when she says something, it is meaningful. And occasionally particularly funny.
- The pusher
Of course, we don't have that type in our group, but there are those types you only hear from when they have something to plug or want something from you. You should remove them as soon as possible. Unless they might have something that makes you happy, of course. In that case, I would say: just keep it casual.
