The 7 most beautiful and fun collaborations with M.A.C Cosmetics ever

M.A.C Cosmetics is one of my favorite brands. Since the eighties, when M.A.C was born, it has been the go-to brand for makeup artists and color lovers. The products are iconic and make you feel incredibly glamorous. But besides all that, I think the collaborations with designers, brands, and fairy tale characters are perhaps the most iconic. My seven favorites in a row. Maybe you can still find them somewhere or you just have to look forward to the next one. Because Zac Posen, interview Ellie Goulding and Charlotte Olympia seem to me enough reasons to get even more excited.

Barbie – 2007

There had to be a collection around the most iconic doll that almost invented beauty. Of course, we wanted sugary pink lips, pastel cheeks, and highlights under the eyes. And the packaging was sweeter than sweet. Almost too cute to eat. Maybe that's why it's nowhere, but then also nowhere, to be found anymore.

Wonder Woman – 2011

Superheroes never go out of style. So yes, that results in a collection with red, white, blue, and gold and amazing products like a mega volume mascara and an eyeliner that only heroines can wear. The coolest items from the collections were perhaps the blue and gold makeup brushes and the metallic bags that came with them.

Carine Roitfeld – 2012

When I googled for a bit, I came across this and my god, how could I forget that. Silly. The collection is really fantastic and Carine's signature, the smudgy smoky eye, is of course indispensable.

Riri – 2013

M.A.C and Rihanna have entered into a longer collaboration and are completely in love with all that fun. The lipsticks have now been included in the permanent collection and the proceeds from the Viva Glam campaigns went to charity.

Proenza Schouler – 2014

Since the collaboration, I have really become addicted to the blush. Incredibly beautiful. Fortunately, it comes back in almost every collaboration, so you can keep buying it in a new package. Furthermore, the brushes were also really beautifully made and the nude polishes are not to be forgotten.

Maleficent – 2014

I still haven't seen the movie, but that gothic side of Angelina Jolie still makes me very curious. And that gothic side is also cast in a M.A.C jacket, with bloody red lips and nails. I do have that lipstick and it is really fantastic and with the Prep + Prime Highlighter you really create killer cheekbones.

The Simpsons – 2014

We can say that 2014 was way too good a year, because that year the collection of The Simpsons was also launched. Who wouldn't want Marge Simpson as a beauty icon? The Poppy Powder Blush and the light-colored mascara were also really cool.
