THE FUNNIEST WEDDING SITES
– part two: DIY –
Last week I immersed you and whispered about the most fun wedding sites. You need to be there to get the most creative ideas for the wedding day. Admit it, if you had no plans, you certainly do now. But then it’s a matter of turning all those fun ideas into reality. And hop, these sites will help you with that. You can browse for hours to pick the cutest cards and the finest goodies for the day . Enjoy!
Judith and Heleen are the founders of Oh So Pretty Party. I have collaborated quite a bit with Judith in the past for beautiful beauty productions which she gave a lovely illustrative twist. But then Heleen came along, and I actually became an even bigger fan. Judith and Heleen studied together at the Willem de Kooning Academy, which fostered a love for typography, letters, and paper, and hooray, that all comes together on the site. Only beautiful and fun invitations, cake toppers, and garlands. Truly my favorite site. They also have plenty of fun stuff for when you’re not getting married.
Officially, this is of course not a wedding site, but this is the place to be for a hundred colors of pom-poms, labels, stickers, and fine tapes. Everything to ultimately create the cutest decorations.
This I just discovered and actually wanted to keep it for myself, in case a wedding day ever comes, because this is just so fun. Cake toppers, balloons, ideas for winter weddings, and stickers for envelopes. It can all sound incredibly sweet, but they have really given it a lovely twist that makes you want to send out the save the dates tomorrow.
This little shop next to the Albert Cuyp not only gives you inspiration for the decorations during the wedding, it also has a lot of fun and quirky items to give as gifts. From cheesy bubble wands to toasters with hearts. I especially find the cake and cupcakes decorations particularly cozy on the site, and there’s certainly no lack of embellishments.
Also a fun site with nice goodies, but what I particularly like right now are the Almost Married cards. At least you have some anticipation for your wedding now. For every fun moment (think: asking bridesmaids, having a bachelorette party) there are fun cards you can take a photo with.
