WHY I FIND WEDDINGS SO FUN

Since I'm not really jumping at the chance to get married myself, people always find it strange when they hear that I'm crazy about other people's weddings. This causes a short circuit in many minds, but I find it completely logical. I see weddings as a party, and I can't wait until all my friends are in the wedding phase, filling every weekend with white dresses and golden rings, and for the following reasons.

The Dress

Because that's what it's all about, What The Bride Wears. Most wedding dresses I find quite ugly (because often strapless) and anyway, such a large white object is not particularly fashionable, but still, you know, still. Somewhere inside me is that girl who dreams of life as a princess, and looking at such a dress feeds that feeling a bit.

The Clothes

Of the rest of the guests that is. How wonderful are events where everyone has really made an effort with their outfit. Men looking sharp in suits, women in heels and dresses, I love it.

The location

The people

It's a collection of friends, good acquaintances, and vague acquaintances, but in any case, you see all the people you might not often encounter in daily life. A kind of reunion, but then in nice clothes and at a beautiful location.

The Tears

Yes, the tears. Really, you can hire me for weddings and funerals, I sit crying in the hall. You might not expect it from me but I am an enormous softie who immediately bursts into tears at other people's emotions. Wonderful.
