Say, did you guys already know that we're going back to New York for fashion week? And did you know that Jet and I are going a week earlier for extra research and fieldwork? So from September 3 to 16, we'll be in the big apple, and that means I now have a full-time job searching Airbnb for a suitable NYC HQ. Besides realistic searches, it's my favorite hobby (you know me) to set the minimum amount to 900 euros per night, because then a bunch of beautiful apartments come up. And I love that.
Brick loft
Is it a restaurant? Is it a hotel? Well, a bit of both. That kitchennnn! I'm sure that when Jet sees this, she'll get all wobbly in her chair. And I, in turn, get a bit restless from those absolutely stunning floors. There are 2 bedrooms where a total of 5 people can sleep, who can then splash around in two different bathrooms.
How much does that cost?
Quite a lot. €1724,- per night. Click here for more photos.
Loft in SoHo
Okeeee hello dream house! Right in SoHo and with an interior that could easily hop into a home magazine. According to the description, it's “celebrity owned and designed”, so who oh who could that celebrity be! I find that very juicy. It can accommodate 10 people, has a mega open dining and living room, and a kitchen that Jamie Oliver would lick his fingers at.
How much does that cost?
Well, considering you can sleep 10 people, the nightly price of €931,- isn't that crazy after all. Click here for more photos.
Penthouse in Midtown
In Midtown stands this penthouse, and just the word penthouse alone has sold me. It's grand, white, clean, has a view over the city, and is therefore enormously Instagrammable. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a huge kitchen with a matching living room. I would love to walk around here draped in cream-colored cashmere and then very chic sip a glass of white wine from a perfect wine glass.
How much does that cost?
Oh, it's almost nothing, a measly €1158,-. Per night yes. Click here for more photos.
Grand in Flatiron
But really very grand. The open living room alone is 343 square meters and the ceilings are almost 4 meters high. There's a library, a mega kitchen, beautiful bathroom (2 even) and 3 bedrooms. Oh, and the best part of all, the elevator opens directly into your apartment. Now let's hope the doorman is a bit better than in Gossip Girl (just read here).
How much does that cost?
For the real Gossip Girl experience, you do need a bit of cash, so that €839,- per night is a bargain. Click here for more photos.
