Moroccanoil

In New York I felt incredibly birthday-like when May-Britt, Lies, and Jet sang me awake with a cake full of burning candles I felt even more birthday-like when I got to take a seat in the chair for Moroccanoil a touch-up. Although, actually a makeover, because my hair looked so terrible that it could really use a boost. And while I was in the chair with Frank Pérez, creative design team educator from Moroccanoil, I naturally asked all sorts of questions to always have the most beautiful hair So yes, you can benefit from that on a day when things don't go as you want.

According to Frank, you really don't have to wash your hair every day. In fact, preferably only about three times a week. Your hair actually looks better that way. The time you do wash your hair, you just have to do it very thoroughly. So take your time and massage the products well into your hair, take the time to let them work in, and then rinse the products out thoroughly. That's often where it goes wrong. If you don't rinse the products out well, residues remain and your hair gets greasy faster. Once a week a hair mask is also a good idea, to give it a nice boost and keep your hair very healthy. Furthermore, you can always use a drop of Moroccanoil treatment. This combines well with all the other products you use during the wash from the line and this product makes the hair softer and gives a nice shine. One of the newest products from Moroccanoil is the Root Boost, which really gives a huge volume boost. You have to believe me, because after Frank sprayed this in my hair and then blow-dried it, I had about ten times more hair on my head. It seriously got a big boost. The advantage is that it doesn't feel heavy and rough (which you do have with a dry shampoo), but it just felt fresh and light. I really often ran my hands through my hair to see if it was all real. But it works. And that's the most important thing. Because we were there during Fashion Week , I was very curious about how we could freshen ourselves up a bit between all the shows, without dragging a suitcase full of products. According to Frank, that was very easy. In the morning, blow-dry your hair with the Root Boost and add some Voluminizing Mousse to the ends. Then you get the best result and the best volume. Because the products are well gripping on the hair and you have already taken the time in the morning for styling, you only need to flip your head upside down during the day and shake your hands through your hair. The products are then reactivated and your hair looks better than ever.

Blow-drying. You do that upside down. You massage the scalp with one hand and blow-dry the hair with the other hand. This activates the products and gives you a huge mane of hair. And that's what we want, right? Since Frank was very busy that week with the Fashion Week shows, he could also tell me the trends. Where last season you saw a dirty, wet look on one hand and a healthy look on the other, now everything is combined. So on top the wet look and healthy waves at the ends. The trends are nicely mixed. A bit of this, a bit of that. Guaranteed to always look good.
