Okay, last week it was 83 degrees in the Netherlands and I didn't know where to look for the heat. Normally, summer weather is my favorite, but last week I was coughing and complaining like Lies about the little streams running down my legs and whatnot. But hey, I have the solution. And it's very refreshing and super fun.

The freezer is actually full of ice creams here. My favorite. You can really wake me up for ice creams. In any form. I used to live in Blaricum and let the fun begin there. That’s where the absolute best ice cream parlor in the country is, and you understand that it was an evening outing several times a week.

I don't live there anymore, but you understand that such a habit isn't easy to shake off. And I wouldn't want to. In the meantime, I have found a new ice cream parlor that is also very nice and our freezer is full of treats for when I don't feel like going to that ice cream parlor but I do want to chill on the balcony. The rocket pops and pear ice creams are flying off the shelves and I absolutely won't apologize for it because it's just a few calories so no one sees it. So I’d like that sun to come back now and that summer really can't last long enough.
