For about a week now, I've been captivated by Zalando. It started when they began selling Gap, so I no longer have to go to New York or Milan to update my daughters' wardrobes. A few clicks and there was an amazing pile of summer gear hanging in the closet.

But now they have come up with something fun again. During Amsterdam Fashion Week, which is currently in full swing, this online shopping paradise is organizing the most fashionable events at various locations in the city, where even people who do not work in fashion or fashion media can indulge in all sorts of different things.

The Zalando 10 days Downtown have already kicked off with an incredibly cool opening party, and on day 1, Yara Michels chose someone who posted the best look on Instagram with the hashtag #Zalandodowntown. She then spent a day out with Yara. Together, they naturally became best friends, but they mainly attended all the Downtown events that the fun people at Zalando had come up with.
