THIS IS HOW YOU GET THAT COOL DELPOZO HAIR

in 7 steps

The Delpozo show was one of the surprises of New York Fashion Week. Skirts that can shelter four children (or your loved one), voluptuous shoulders, fabrics embellished with sequins and patterns. Really, ‘boring’ was nowhere to be found.

For the makeup, a matte face was chosen with the eyelid treated with a sequin eyeshadow. And now the hair. Because that is the epitome of class and understated chic and the solution for a bad hair day or a day when you don't have time to blow-dry.

Make sure you have long hair. If you don't, you can apply clip-in extensions. But for convenience, I'll assume you have long hair.

You start with damp hair to which you apply a styling mousse. At Delpozo, they first treated the hair with Moroccanoil Treatment (my favorite, also very handy for detangling your children's hair and perfect for dry spots on your elbows, just saying) and then with Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream to create a good base.

Blow-dry the hair and brush it through with a soft brush made of real hair.

When the hair is completely dry, create an asymmetrical parting with more hair on the left side. Spray with Moroccanoil's Luminous Hairspray for hold and shine.

Tie the hair at the nape of the neck with a small elastic.

Now pay attention. Divide the hair above the elastic into two sections so that a space forms above the elastic. Through that space, pull your ponytail. As if the bottom of your ponytail is diving towards your head, you get it? This way you get a beautiful, romantic, and understated ponytail.

A little hairspray on top and you're done.
