Long hair. How come?

Long hair. We all want that, right? Well, I certainly do, and I had to save for an eternity for the mane I have now. Recently, a small piece was cut off because the ends were really terribly dead. There was quite a bit of resistance beforehand. With every movement that poor Youri of The Building made, I screamed that he shouldn't cut too much (he hadn't even held a pair of scissors yet). And with every snipped lock, I sadly stared at the ground. So I want new and long hair quickly, how do I do that?

Don't smoke

Smoking causes a narrowing of the blood vessels, which affects the oxygen supply. This not only influences the shine but also the growth of the hair. No one has ever become happy or healthy from a lack of oxygen. Neither will your hair. I won't name names, but dear J & L, STOP SMOKING!

Vitamin B

Yes, it's true, vitamin B11 and B12 contribute to strong nails, good skin, and healthy (thus growing) hair. You can get this from a pill bottle; I take a tablet about twice a week. But there is also B in milk, meat, and green vegetables.

Protein

Hair is made up of the protein keratin. If you eat a lot of protein, your hair will also grow faster. But where can you find that? Of course in eggs, but there is also a lot of protein in nuts, meat, and fish. So know that not only do you become very happy from a piece of salmon, but your hair does too.

Zon

Sunlight promotes the production of Vitamin D, which makes your hair grow faster. Don't you notice that after summer your hair suddenly seems meters longer? It's important to protect your hair well from the sun to prevent drying out. Otherwise, after your beautiful Ibiza vacation, you indeed have a longer mane, but it has become such a straw broom that it can be cut again immediately. And that was just not the intention.

Sports

Does exercising also influence your hair growth? Certainly. It relates to point 1. Exercising promotes good blood circulation, allowing more oxygen to reach the scalp. And what did we just learn? Exactly. No idea how to start? Fortunately, we have Jet.

Geen stress

Stress has a huge impact on your physical condition. There are many people who experience hair loss due to stress. This is related to the high level of adrenaline that surges through your body. On your scalp, this adrenaline can be broken down less effectively. Lactic acid then builds up on the scalp, hindering growth. Relaxation is very important, therefore. Fortunately, Lies knows how you can do that.
