7 tips to get you trained

Starting tomorrow, I will begin boxing lessons at 7 o'clock in the morning with my trainer Robby. How I'm going to do that, I seriously have no idea, but the intention is that I stand in the ring with open eyes and a clear head. In winter, I would never do that, because then it is pitch dark, freezing cold and I prefer to stay in bed as long as possible. Now that summer is really coming and it is getting light earlier with a pleasant temperature (and we are also getting closer to bikini time), I am moving the training a few hours earlier. Advantage? You have the evening free and can therefore go to the terrace.

To drag you off that couch or out of bed for a workout I'll give you some motivating tips. Print it out, hang it up, and then I'll see you in the gym or in the park.

Shine

Make sure you have a nice outfit. It sounds a bit exaggerated, but it isn't. Treat yourself to a cool workout outfit and you'll seriously feel more like exercising. Also handy for when you accidentally run into that one cutie.

Dance to the music

Make an incredibly nice playlist on your iPhone that makes you feel very energetic and happy. Who knows, you might actually enjoy working out to some slower music, that’s fine too, but update your playlist often enough; that keeps you motivated. So boring to keep running to the same songs. Boring. Summer is coming.

My trainer can't tell me often enough. Guys, summer is coming. And it's coming faster than you think.

Together you stand strong.

Make plans to work out together, then you really can't be the one who bails out.

Instagram yourself silly.

This might not be one that I encourage, because being on Instagram a lot

is also fake , but just open the app in the morning and you'll see that 50 people you follow have already done a workout. Then you can't fall behind..., Set a goal

Many people need to have a goal before they start exercising. Seems perfectly fine to me, nothing wrong with that. For example, I always sign up for a run that I am going to do. Write down your goal and treat yourself to something nice when you achieve it.

Sunshine.

People, the sun is shining, get out of bed.
