TRING TRING, THE LUNCH IS READY!

Everyone a turn in the kitchen

Here at the editorial office, we work with lunch schedules. We always eat with our neighbors and since they are a large group, they get to make the salads a bit more often than we do. A little luck then. Today it was our turn again and since we are all very busy this week for our trip to New York, I suggested ordering lunch this time. The neighbors (who are mostly men) were already at the table because they thought fries would be delivered. Hey, you don't know me well enough yet.

Taking the easy route, but still a party

Look, I’m usually the one who dives into the kitchen to prepare lunch, so I also got to decide what we were going to order. Healthy then and also something that could be delivered a bit quickly, so that became Tring Tring. That is a very handy app where you can order from different stores and it gets delivered within 60 minutes. And for the first 48 hours after downloading the app, the order is delivered for free. Look, this is fun. I chose Juice & Salad because you do the Amayzines a big favor with greens.

You don't just have to get lettuce, you know

While searching for what kind of greens we were in the mood for, I scrolled through various shops where you can place your order. It doesn’t all have to be ready-made; you can also just do your grocery shopping at Landmarkt or Bilder & De Clercq. Or order fresh juices from The Cold Pressed Juicery. Just to name a few. Ideal if you don’t have much time but still want something tasty and healthy.

More greens

The fun part is that the delivery person comes with a very large cargo bike. Although it has a small electric motor, that’s also good for the environment. “This way we make the city a little more beautiful.” I completely agree with that.

At the table

I ordered five different salads and we could easily eat from that with ten people. Some rice cakes and hummus also made it to the table. Of course, I love diving into the kitchen for a feast, but I have to be careful that this doesn’t become my new addiction. By the way, you can also just do your grocery shopping at Tring Tring and then start cooking yourself. That saves you a trip to the store. Handy, right?.
