Oh people, how much I can enjoy a little festival full of delicacies. And I'm not just talking about crab burgers and prosecco, but also about all the beauty that flutters around. That's why Rollende Keukens in Amsterdam is such a party. I could spend the whole day there. Of course, with the right look. So how do we look cool, comfy, and mess-proof at a food festival?

I don't want any hassle and especially no hair getting stuck in the mayo. So I tie a cute scarf around my head to be able to bite freely, but still wave my mane around.

Food festivals are accessible, so the disco makeup I usually put on for a festival is left behind today. It's going to be basic today (yes really, I do that sometimes), focusing on a flawless brown skin. There are often no decent toilets for a touch-up, so we have to make do with our makeup all day. That's why I first prime my face well, so everything stays in place. For my eyes, I choose the Prep + Prime from M.A.C. and for the rest of the face, I use the Photo Finish primer from Smashbox.. Then I use my concealer from M.A.C.. On top of that, the Dream Wonder Nude foundation from Maybelline. Because I want a bit of a tan, I also use some of the Bronze Goddess from Estée Lauder. A very nice gel that gives you just a bit more color. You apply this over your foundation. On my eyes, I use the nude colors from MUA and I use the nice basic mascara Lash Sensational from Maybelline. I add a touch of the Snowflake Dreams powder from Clinic. This keeps your makeup in place and prevents a shiny face. I leave my lips unpainted because I'm going to eat for life.

The weather in the Netherlands is as changeable as Rihanna's hairstyles. You can be hopping around in a T-shirt, only to find yourself shivering and somewhat defeated a few hours later. Layers are therefore very important. For example, choose a leather jacket (you can easily wipe food scraps off this) with a large army jacket over it. If it gets too warm, you can tie the outer jacket around your waist in a trendy and casual way. Furthermore, ripped jeans always work well. We hop from stall to stall, so a good pair of sneakers is required. I've been in love with these colorful Nike Air Max for years, which I think will never go out of style. And even with a drink in hand, they march me home as steadily as possible. Oh people, how much I can enjoy a festival full of delicacies. And I'm not just talking about crab burgers and prosecco, but also about all the beauty...
