Wedding nails with a twist

Is it just me or is everyone suddenly talking about getting married? And are the magazines and the internet suddenly exploding with wedding attire, decoration, and etiquette? Not that I mind, because big sister is getting married this summer and as the maid of honor, all inspiration is welcome. Maybe that's why this topic stands out so much. Hmm, my brain is working hard. Anyhoo, a bit out of self-interest (sister interest actually), but for all the brides-to-be, I present to you: the wedding nails of now.

This season we see many hands au naturel. I think this is very suitable for a bride with a bombshell dress. Just make sure you start using nail hardener on time, for example, this one from O.P.I., so that your nails are strong and beautiful enough on the, what do I say, your day. If you find this too boring, you can also make the nail edge silver (or gold).

White nails remain a hit. I totally understand because it makes your hand look much tanner and matches with everything. I like a white polish for the bride to be, but it is a bit boring. It only gets really cool when a little stripe of gold (or silver) is added. You can do this both vertically and horizontally. That's exciting, right?

I am very much into colors, especially on your hands. But on your wedding day, you really shouldn't go for a bright yellow or blue. Why not? Because in ten or twenty years, you'll look back at your wedding photos and wonder what the F is that terrible color on your nails. And that stings, believe me. A subtle metallic color, on the other hand, is very beautiful. Just check what accents you have in your dress – gold or silver – and adjust the color accordingly.

Now that I have solved the nail dilemma for you, you can worry about the seating arrangement, the dessert, peony or regular roses, music, and oh yeah, how are you going to keep that overly present friend of yours, photos hub to be in check? I wish you all the success! Is it just me or is everyone suddenly talking about getting married? And are the magazines and the internet suddenly exploding with wedding attire, decoration, and etiquette?
