What to do with pineapple? Well, this for example.
Who says a-ná-nas abroad instead of pineapple? Yep, that's me.
I love them, that too. Usually, I buy one (always smell the bottom to see if it smells sweet) and peel it right away. Then I cut the pineapple into small pieces and put them in a Tupperware container for the fridge. I'm really into different containers. Even one leftover bite of lentils gets its own little jar with a lid from me. Okay, back to the pineapple, because I have a few nice recipes for you.
Man, this is such an incredible treat. Super easy, super nutritious, and just like a candy.
Here's what you need and how to make it:
a handful of pineapple pieces
1 banana
a good handful of coconut flakes
2 generous splashes of coconut water
a pinch of cinnamon
Blend everything together and you're done!
Suppose the barbecue is nicely crackling, then place some slices of pineapple on it or thread them onto a skewer. Roast them for a bit, but stay close because it goes quickly. Delicious to serve with a scoop of yogurt ice cream, for example. For the real sweet tooth, you can sprinkle some sugar on top, but I actually think that's not necessary.
Cut a pineapple into small pieces and put them in a cup. Then take a mortar where you put mint and some coconut blossom sugar. Press, push, and twist everything until it becomes completely grainy. Then mix that through the pineapple. Delicious with a dollop of quark or fromage blanc.
