WHY IT'S GOOD THAT YOU PRESSED SNOOZE THIS MORNING

6 times

Tuesday is the dullest day of the week for me. On Monday, it's still a bit of catching up about your boring weekend, but those Tuesdays... Nothing to it. Especially not when it's autumn and gray and wet outside.

That's why it's a wonder to even say that we set our alarm and totally understandable that we hit it three times in a corner before we consider putting a toe outside the bed.

Good news is that science is on your side. British research showed that people who sleep longer have a lower chance of getting sick. They tested this by infecting 164 people with a virus and then they were kept for a week in a hotel stopped.

What turned out? Everyone who slept more than six hours had a lower chance of infection. And the longer you slept, the healthier you turned out to be. That was more important than other parameters like weight and age.

So if you were ten minutes late today because you just pressed snooze one time too many, your boss has no reason to be angry. Just tell him (or her) that you'll be much less sick this winter because of it. They can only be happy about that, right?
