why we are so excited about New York
This Thursday, Jet and I are getting on a plane to fly to New York, and a week later May will join us. For me, the third time this year, but New York will never get boring. And here are the reasons.
Because it is summer there now
Yes, to start with the most important thing. While we are struggling in the Netherlands with a half-hearted late summer and especially a lot of rain, in New York it is simply 30 degrees. That means a lot of things with rooftops, terraces, and endlessly strolling outside. Dressed in bare legs, oh how much I am looking forward to that.
Because we are going up in the air
In Canada I went in a helicopter for the first time in my life, and in New York it will be the second time. That’s right, we are going to take a helicopter flight over the city. Heli In NY lifts us into the air to have the best view of New York ever, and I can't tell you how incredibly excited I am about that.
Because I can see Olaf again
Yessss my dear dear Olaf in Times Square. Sometimes there are even three at the same time, and it is my biggest wish to take a photo with all three at once. Jet and May are not so keen on Times Square, but I can already tell you that I will drag them there by their hair to do a photoshoot with me and Olaf.
Because we are going to buy something beautiful
Yes, we have agreed on that. Jet and I are both allowed to buy a really nice item as a souvenir of this NY trip. I am leaning towards a beautiful new bag, but I will think about that some more.
Because we are going to the Yankees
In Canada, I also went to a baseball game for the first time in my life, and I thought it was a blast. This time we are going to the Yankees. Tickets have already been bought, and you can bet that I will buy one of those silly foam hands to cheer and shout with.
