10 crazy beauty things that celebs do
And that apparently work incredibly well
They all have an incredibly good skin and that's what we want too. We did some research because quite a few celebs have shared their beauty rituals online. Now you might think that we need to pull out our wallets to achieve that flawless golden look, but that's not the case at all. You can find half of all the ingredients right in your kitchen cabinet. At least, if we are to believe those tips. It's definitely worth a try and hopefully soon you'll have the same skin and hair as the stars.
Blake Lively
The hair of Blake Lively is envy-inducing. And apparently the secret isn't in huge hair extensions, intense hair treatments, or days without washing, no, it's just in a really nice product. Before you shower, you put some mayonnaise or oil in your hair, which protects your locks well. You then wash your hair with shampoo, so the soap can't dry it out anymore. And that's how it shines and grows.
Scarlett Johansson
The perfect skin? Scarlett cleans her skin with apple cider vinegar. I've never really been close to her, so I have no idea how she smells, but it definitely helps for a beautiful skin. And then you also know where that natural glow comes from.
Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth has some pretty unique beauty rituals that come from her own kitchen cabinet . Bee stings are an ancient therapy and are said to work well to keep the skin smooth and tight. Painful but true. Furthermore, she uses a brush to brush her hair that you normally use to wash your back. This way you get those perfectly polished locks. And a lot of volume with little hassle.
Alessandra Ambrosio
Of course, I accept everything from Victoria's Secret Angels. Alessandra uses the Brazilian hair treatment Velaterapia. With this, dead ends are burned away with an open flame. I wouldn't try this at home, by the way. It sounds very exciting, but my idea is that it immediately burns everything away. But it turns out to work. Because hey, just look at that hair.
Eva Longoria
Scary, but apparently creams with placenta in them work very well. They are said to boost collagen production and provide an extremely high hydration level for the skin. Katie Holmes is said to be a fan too. I’ll skip it for now, but if you're really desperate due to lack of moisture, then you know what to do.

Nicole Kidman
I’ll skip Nicole's skin tips for now, but when it comes to her hair, I still trust her. She always kept her red locks extremely red by using a cup of cranberry juice after her shampoo. The color becomes more intense and lasts longer.
Jennifer Love Hewitt
Want to get rid of that pimple? Jennifer tells you how to do it. Have you ever caught her with a pimple? No. Well, the solution is simple. Put a little toothpaste on your face, as it would dry out the pimples.
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Haven't tried it, but if we are to believe Catherine Zeta-Jones, strawberries would work wonders for whiter teeth. They contain acids that remove plaque and thus ensure extremely white teeth. I find it all very exciting, because it seems to me that strawberries would give a rosy effect, but apparently it does something good for you.
Julia Roberts
Julia is completely crazy about olive oil and really puts it everywhere. This way she keeps her skin in good condition and lets her nails grow. So you won't be able to tell her age by her hands.
Mariah Carey
Big lips? No, you don't have to get injections right away. Try, if we can believe Mariah, adding a few drops of peppermint oil to your lip gloss. Peppermint is said to stimulate blood circulation and give the lips an intense color and slightly make them swell. Uh-huh. Curious.
