3X FRUIT ICE CREAM

If you can resist Ben & Jerry's ice cream

Yesterday, four large tubs of Ben & Jerry's ice cream were brought into the office. People seriously stormed (Hi Kiki!) to the entrance, where the bag of ice cream was handed over. The giant spoons shaped like real scoops made it even more of a party. Well, is there anyone who doesn't like Ben & Jerry's? No, I don't think so either.

If you think: hmm, meh, that summer, that bikini, hmm, I prefer a lighter ice cream, then I'm here for you. I give you three recipes for ice creams made from fruit and a little more. Delicious. But whether they are as tasty as Cookie Dough? I can't guarantee that.

What you definitely need for each recipe are ice molds. You can buy those at HEMA, Blokker, or cooking stores. I mean molds that allow you to make ice on a stick.

Mango

This is what you need

1 overripe mango

4 large scoops of quark or Greek yogurt

Tablespoon of honey (optional)

Here’s how to make it

Blend the mango and quark in a mixer and optionally add some honey. That makes it a bit sweeter. Pour the “batter” into the ice molds and let it freeze for at least 4 hours.

TIP! You can also jazz up the ice creams by adding raspberries to the molds while pouring, which creates a nice effect and is also super tasty.

TIP 2! Add some shredded coconut to the quark. Delicious!

Pineapple

This is what you need

A large ripe pineapple

Coconut water

Here’s how to make it

Peel the pineapple and cut it into small cubes. Fill the ice molds with coconut water and pineapple. Off to the freezer and just wait.

Kiwi

This is what you need

5 kiwis

Coconut water

Tablespoon of honey

Here’s how to make it

Puree the kiwis together with a splash of coconut water and the honey. It should remain a bit thick. Pour it into the molds, then put them in the freezer until completely hard, and then: bon ap!
