3X NUTRITION FOR YOUR HAIR

Hair masks are truly a holy grail in hair care. In the past, it was conditioners for me, but unfortunately, they have been dethroned. A mask is genuinely a gift for your hair, especially during these bleak autumn days. Believe it or not, I just make it in the kitchen.
Many masks contain parabens, sulfates, and sometimes alcohol. These ingredients help your hair mask last longer, but they are also harmful to your scalp. Yes, but what should I put on my hair, I hear you thinking. Well, girlfriend, everything that is good for your body is actually also good for your hair. Run to the supermarket, fill your basket, and make your own concoction. Simple and also nice for your wallet. I left out the eggs; they thought it was a bit of a messy idea in the editorial office. But I do have three other delicious nourishing examples for you.

1. Avocado Mask

I am a sucker for avocado. When it is just ripe enough (not a day too early and definitely not a day too late), you really make me the happiest. Slice it up, a bit of olive oil, a pinch of coarse sea salt, and a fork. Delicious. But when your avocado is just a bit too ripe, you can use it very well for your hair mask. Perfect for dry and dull hair. If you have a moisture-deprived scalp (many of us are certainly suffering from that these days) and your hair almost never gets greasy, then this mask is very suitable. We spend a lot of time indoors, with the heating or stove on and thus with little fresh air. Our hair dries out tremendously. Avocado helps to make your hair soft, thick, and smooth. Moreover, it hydrates your scalp. Put a small ripe avocado together with half a cup of almond milk and a tablespoon of olive or almond oil in the blender and mix until you get a creamy mixture. Apply the mask to your scalp and let it sit for fifteen minutes. Rinse the mask out well with lukewarm water.

2. Coconut Oil Mask

Another favorite because I love the smell of coconut (holiday feeling all year round). This mask is also perfect for dry and damaged hair. I always use this mask as a hot oil treatment. Take two tablespoons of coconut oil and mix it with a bit of olive oil. Apply it to damp hair. Put a damp towel in the microwave and wrap it around your hair. Let it sit for half an hour and then wash your hair as usual. You can also let this mask sit overnight, but make sure to wrap your towel securely. Also, ensure that you rinse the mask out well and wash your hair again with shampoo.

3. Yogurt Mask

Prefer no greasiness on your head? Then a yogurt mask is a perfect solution. Especially for all the ladies who have a dull haze over their hair, this is the perfect mask. It gives a nice refreshing shine to your hair. Massage half a glass of yogurt into slightly damp hair and let it sit for about twenty minutes. Rinse it out and wash your hair as usual.
