Happy & Healthy
4 X STRUCTURE IN YOUR WORKDAY
It can
Good. If you see where and how I am right now (namely in a hotel room at the Pulitzer while my hair is being done for a shoot with my laptop on my lap), you might wonder if I am the right person to tell you how to bring structure to your workweek. On the other hand, if I can manage it with my somewhat chaotic nature, three daughters, and a job where I jump from one thing to another, then you might learn something from that. Because I have found my work-way in life.
1. Delete
You can't do everything and you don't want to do everything. We women often have the tendency to please and satisfy, and that's nice, but only if you also make the most important person happy, namely you. Saying no is an art, but really, you can learn it and it will yield you so much. Also personally: if you don't feel like something; name it. Maybe not always the friendliest, but people will know where they stand.
2. Delegate
Another one. You can't do everything yourself. If you want to push upwards, you shouldn't stay too horizontal. Hire people for things you are not good at or are too expensive for (ha ha). Remember that if you invest a little to take something off your hands, you can do bigger things in that time.

3. A no-email day
Friday is still the favorite ATV day for most people, so for you, it's the ideal day to set a no-email day. They won't notice if you don't respond immediately because they will think you are taking a day off. Meanwhile, you can work undisturbed on big master plans and masterpieces.

I owe this to my partner Daniëlle, because you are so inclined to always stay in the hustle of the day, which makes you a deadline junkie. That is deadly exhausting, stressful, and not very constructive. So plan at least one afternoon each week to work on the future, plan ahead, and bring structure. For example, on your no-email Friday. With a glass of wine at four o'clock. Good for inspiration. Cheers!
