And that now makes you want to quit your current job on the spot

Let me start by saying that I am really happy with my place at Amayzine and that I’m not going anywhere. But still, sometimes you come across things that make you think: holy sh*t, I want that too, I want that too! So when I came across the list below, I thought for a split second: hmm, maybe a career switch? Just kidding, May, just kidding. But I can probably cheat for one day, right?

I genuinely think I should do this for a day. Then I can experience some sleaze from celebrities gather.

If I were to cheat on work for one day, this would be it. ‘Nein! Nein! Nein! OK Fine!‘, ’Wanted… Red or Alive‘, ’Life is a Cabernet‘, ’Silent Mauvie‘, ’Queen of D’Nile‘… Should I keep going? Every time Lilian and I try to come up with fun names for the What To Wear Tomorrows, we genuinely think we would be a top duo for OPI. So OPI team, when can we come and strengthen your creative-name team for a day? #nailedit

You really have to like this. I honestly can’t even think about it. Nice, a wedding, really. Someday I want to get married too. But to be hired to go from one wedding to another as a bridesmaid for people you don’t know… A bit strange, right? But still, tons of girls apparently become incredibly happy from this. It’s definitely something different than an office job.

I always refer to this as ‘Official Taste Tester’. As soon as a package of food arrives at our neighbors, I maneuver myself towards their corner to join in on the tasting round. But hey, did you know there are also people who have to taste ice cream flavors daily for their job? I would like to sign up for that. Ben & Jerry, could you please send samples to Pilotenstraat from now on? Much appreciated, thanks. FavorFlav Another job that would be great for me, because then I can enjoy the Oscars, Grammys, and all other award shows up close. I can see myself doing this (haha, sitting, get it? Oh, not funny, sorry). Just keeping Leonardo DiCaprio's seat warm while he has to go to the little boy’s room. Or Ryan Gosling’s or something. Female celebs are totally fine with me too, by the way. Another food-related job. And again, I would be happy to fill in for a day. Making sure food is beautifully photographed. And then of course eating everything afterwards.

Participating in sleep studies? Or testing beds in hotels? It exists, ladies and gentlemen, it exists. A job where you won’t get fired if you snooze for a bit. Sleep well in advance, okay.
