8 REASONS WHY MAY IS DISAPPOINTED WHEN SHE IS NOT DRIVING THIS CAR

There are times when I don't step into a brand new Renault. A shame, and I know it. Recently, I've been spoiled with the Renault Talisman. I got to shine with it in Normandy and we went away for a weekend to the Ardennes together. But now, another journalist has to take test drives in my beloved Talisman, and I feel multiple disappointments when I step into a car that is not called Renault Talisman. And here's why.

1. The key

That's where it all starts. I usually (you probably do too) have too many bags hanging off me. The Renault Talisman understands that and simply opens the doors as I walk up. I don't have to fumble with my handbag, trying to fish my keys out (which are always at the bottom, of course, somewhere under six packs of Smint and seventeen stray receipts). Just walk up and it happily unlocks. And when I sit down, it gives me a welcome greeting in the form of the Renault tune. That's what I miss.

2. The carpet is rolled out

When I open that door, the seat automatically slides back so I have a nice spacious entry.

That means no more fines and that means even more shopping budget

3. The seat massage

When you're cruising on the way to, for example, Normandy, such an invigorating seat massage is a blessing. Or a relaxing massage if you feel a bit restless in traffic.

4. The seat cooling

The invention of the year, if you ask me. This car has not only seat heating but also seat cooling. Have you ever heard of something so nice and luxurious? Probably not. I think it's brilliant. Brilliánt.

5. The adaptive cruise control

Also something like that. Not just cruise control, but it also adjusts its speed to the car in front of you. If you don't like cruise control, there's also a speed limiter that is really easy to set. That means no more fines and that means even more shopping budget.

6. The trunk

You can lie both stretched out and horizontally in it, and there can be a lot of suitcases, hockey bags, and shopping bags in it.

It's almost a moving disco. We're never going home.

7. The smallest turning circle

The Renault Talisman has the 4Control system with four-wheel steering, allowing the wheels to adjust a hundred times per second. A hundred times per second! Do you know how fast that is? Because the rear wheels steer in the opposite direction at low speeds, this spacious car has a tiny turning circle, making it very easy to park forward. Perfect for us, right?

8. The speakers

They are from Bose. Guys, there is a complete audio sound system in this car. It's almost a moving disco. We're never going home.
