The people who know me and occasionally look at my nails know that I always have a nude color on my nails. I usually choose a taupe or a soft pink and occasionally a gray color is added. Sounds boring, sounds unoriginal, but believe me; it's better for everyone if I keep appreciating my favorites. I have had a wild moment, you know. Once I painted my nails a candy pink (gel polish, my goodness; I was stuck with it for three weeks. THREE!) and I also thought cobalt blue looked good on me (again gel polish. Another miss). It turns out that nails can affect your mood, because I was three weeks incredibly grumpy because I couldn't get it off myself. So I'm back to square one, back to the naked truth. Now it is also said that painting nude colors is the most difficult. I agree with everyone on that. You quickly see streaks and smudges.
