Sally Hansen Miracle Gel

Aside from a swipe of mascara on my lower lashes (yes, I have eyelash extensions and no, I can never stop this because I'm incredibly addicted), a bit of blush and my favorite Gimme Brow brush, my makeup bag is quite poorly filled. And of course, I sometimes have those ’oh let me try this too’ moments. Think of an eyeliner or highlighter, but what makes me the happiest are well-painted nails. And let's put it this way: that box, yes box, of nail polishes perfectly compensates for that makeup bag. Really, I'm talking about kilos of nail polish that you dig through for the perfect color.
Anyways, my nails and I, that's quite a thing. Because if my nails aren't painted, I actually feel completely naked. A bare-faced look but in a different way. And if you ever catch me with chipped nails, I can warn you in advance: I am anything but happy.

Now my nail polish collection has grown over the years and I've tried quite a few brands and topcoats, but one of my favorite brands I've spotted nicely in our beauty cabinet. So happy as a clam, because I've been in love with Sally Hansen's polishes for a while now. And if it's also a fresh December party collection, my day can't get any better. Why? Dries quickly, clear in color and perhaps most importantly for the nail polish lovers among us: the polish lasts at least a week. My favorite from the Miracle Gel collection? Buffalo Nickel. Because: metallic silver, and isn't that just the coolest? A swipe of Miracle Gel Top Coat on top and I'm ready to go. And with that party look, I'm all set.
