BEAUTY PRODUCTS YOU'D RATHER NOT BORROW FROM SOMEONE

When it comes to beauty products, I'm a bit of a crow. Now, I am quite spoiled, but when my colleagues have a nice lip balm or exciting eyeshadow lying around, I immediately snatch it from their desk. Looking is perfectly fine, but applying is a whole different story. Don't. Do. It. Your look won't get any prettier.

Lipstick

You eat every day, you kiss your love, you drink who knows what, so you understand that your mouth is a source of bacteria is. So you know what you're sharing when you grab that lipstick or balm from your colleague's desk.

Makeup brushes

Makeup brushes always seem so nice and soft and fluffy. But they are really a breeding ground for bacteria. Especially when you consider that makeup brushes are only cleaned once every three months, while they should actually be getting a wash every two weeks. Hysterically special.

“Don't. Do. It. Your look won't get any prettier.”

Eye makeup

It's quite tempting to borrow a touch of mascara or an eyeliner from someone. With that, you can quickly upgrade a look. The only downside is that those are precisely little bacteria bombs. You don't know if someone has had an eye infection or how long the eyeliner has been lying around. Bacteria love to nest around a mascara wand or in an eyeshadow palette. And when you're happily powdering afterward, those bacteria quickly find their way to you.

Razor blades

If you step into the shower on a date, it might be very tempting to grab his razor to tidy things up. But you should also consider that you don't know where that razor has been. Cuts, moisture bumps; they can all pop open while shaving, and if those bacteria accumulate, you know what kind of trouble arises.

Tweezers

The same story as the razors. But god, above your eyes and on your face, you definitely don't want any trouble.

Cream

In general, jars of cream are not very hygienic. You put your hands in them every day, and hands carry bacteria. A pump works much better, and that way, no oxygen can get in. Now, a jar of cream that you keep for yourself isn't so bad, because you can handle your own bacteria much better.
