This way your razor lasts longer
So I take quite a long time with a razor blade. I also find those things incredibly expensive and something holds me back from buying new blades on time. That's bad, because a razor blade needs to be razor-sharp. Otherwise your skin will get irritated, it all becomes red and rough and not all your little hairs will be removed. Moreover, you can more easily (you wouldn't think so) cut yourself. Therefore, tips for you and for myself: this is how your razor blade lasts longer.
1. Don't lend out blades. Your blade is yours. You can of course borrow your friend's blade once in a while. That's just how it works.
2. Clean that thing. Don't just throw the razor blade back into that toothbrush glass, but really rinse it well under the tap or shower. Regular water is fine for that, by the way. The real diehards use alcohol.
3. Always dry the blades. Always. They don't like water.
4. Even better is if you don't store your razor blade in the bathroom. It's humid there and that's not good for the blade.
5. Also, don't throw the blade in your toiletry bag when you go traveling. Preferably store it in a holder.
