BEHOLD: THE FIRST MUSICAL INSPIRED BY THE KARDASHIANS

Seriously, this musical screams my name. 1: I’m crazy about the Kardashian hysteria and 2: about cats. What do you get when you combine the above? The “Katdashians” musical. Yes, you read that right.

A kind of musical à la Cats, only based on the life of our favorite drama queen family. Family members Kim, Khloé, Kourtney, Kris, Kendall, Kylie, and Caitlyn all get their own character in the musical, heavily exaggerated with cat ears, a bit too much makeup, slightly tight outfits, and obsessive selfie addiction. Oh, and I almost forgot that Kylie’s character has a wildly interesting neon green hairstyle. This can only get crazy.

Okay, I see your eyebrow going up. But really, if I have to believe reviewer Eitan Levin from Elite Daily, it seems to be a brilliant piece as well. ‘This is really one of the best things I have ever seen on stage in New York,’ he says. ‘Also, Peter Smith’s portrayal of Bruce/Caitlyn couldn’t be better.’ Carmen Mendoza, Bridget Kennedy, and Elliott Brooks play Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney.

Yes damn, I just have to go here. Too bad you really have to book a ticket to New York for this spectacle (it’s there until July 17). Or well, huh – too bad is a big word, right May? Purrrrfect might be a better wording.
