Really nice, all those it-bags. ‘But which bag should I have for my corporate job with (very nice) matching salary?’ I have been asked this question several times. And yes, if you are a real career tiger with a matching busy schedule, many business appointments, and business lunches, a nice bag is really essential. Take it from me (I speak from experience) that you are taken more seriously if you have a nice designer bag.

But which bag qualifies for this? I will give you a list of bags that you can present yourself well with, without them being flashy and seasonal. The bags with prominent logos, large eye-catching chains, and in trendy fashion colors should especially be avoided.

Subdued examples made of beautiful leather, with a simple cut and a nice finish are the bags you will enjoy for years to come. And who knows, you might buy another one next year: then you can switch it up nicely, because an iconic bag never goes out of style.
