If anyone leads a healthy but not boring life, it's Sanny. We didn't have time to really sit down at the table together (although that seems like a party to me), so it became an interview via email, but that doesn't make it any less fun. Sanny, take‘Ooh! What I really found to be a brilliant experience was Sketch in London (see photo). Everything is pink, you feel like you're walking onto a Wes Anderson set. Where in the world is your favorite restaurant?
‘just click here., And who would you really like to have dinner with?.’
‘It can be anyone.
‘Beyonce!. Who run the world…’ ’With my back against the wall, so I have a view of the space. Preferably not near doors or too bright lights, I regularly ask if the lights can be a bit softer.’
Where in a restaurant do you prefer to sit?
‘Risotto with truffle. I don’t know why, but I’m a risotto sucker. But I also really appreciate good bread with really good olive oil.’
What do you always hope is on a menu?
‘I find my way quite well, yes. But for someone who has done wine tastings (for my work) so many times, I should actually know a bit more by now. Next time I should just listen instead of tasting (or drinking). I’m a big fan of South African wines, the Syrah grape, and Petit Chablis.’
Do you find your way on the wine list?
‘Starter. Although I also love pastries and chocolate. There’s still something new to discover with a starter because there’s more experimentation. Desserts are often a bit the same.’
Starter or dessert?
‘I’m making more and more travel videos, after all, that makes you incredibly happy. That’s why I’m going to South Africa for two weeks in March (my boyfriend can come along as cameraman) and afterwards I’m leaving for two weeks to France and Austria to record a ski program for RTL4. Furthermore, I’m addicted to Pinterest to gather wedding inspiration for my wedding in August.’
