Alright, I just came across something that I just have to share with all of you. A damn good message from a damn smart jewelry brand in the States. It’s a message for all single ladies: marry yourself.

Because all those complaints and discussions about marriage are starting to bore me. Is it necessary for everyone to get married? Why can’t you buy an eternity ring for yourself? And promise to be faithful to yourself? Shouldn’t every woman (single or not) promise to be faithful to themselves anyway?

You can get your name engraved into it, promise to always love yourself, honor yourself and stay true to yourself. It’s like pinky promise, but different. This is an idea I can get used to.

Long story short, people: be kind to yourself. Not just for a little while, but for your entire life. And if you need a piece of jewelry to remind you to do that, so be it.
