Everyone wants it: Elsa's hair

YES, YOU CAN ALSO BE A WINTER PRINCESS WITH THESE 5 TIPS

You really don't have to go through the winter with a bunch of straw, damaged hair or a frizzy head. I mean, Elsa from Frozen does it too and really has radiant locks in a climate where -10 is still quite warm. Of course, she has her tricks for that, you understand, and that's why I'm whispering them to you too. The world would really be a lot prettier if only Elsa lookalikes were walking around.

In winter, everything is of course barren and dry and with a drop of oil you can give things just a little extra. It always sounds a bit greasy, but with a natural oil, it doesn't have to be that way at all. And it's not like you have to empty a whole bottle of oil at once. Alright, your hair can also use a little drop. Massaging a bit into the scalp in the evening helps, because then it can absorb well all night. The next morning wash your hair well and your locks will have the peace to shine again.

It's cold outside, the air is dry, so it's not so strange that your hair feels quite dead. It's important to give your hairstyle a little extra sip. Hydrate that stuff. So look for products that work extremely nourishing, but that are not too harsh and aggressive. That's actually the last thing your hair needs right now, and really always.

I also understand that you prefer to step under a warm shower every morning and evening or into an even warmer bath, but be a little careful with that. At least as far as your hair is concerned. If you wash your hair too much, it dries out. Once every three days should just be enough, and if not, then a dry shampoo really works wonders.

We've already told you a million times that you need to protect your hair well before you start using a hairdryer or straightener, but in winter you should be even more cautious. If you put a hot hairdryer on your hair, it loses even more moisture. Set it to a cooler setting. It might take a little longer, but your hair will shine much more and will really be happier.

Well, that seems to be the solution if everything doesn't work. But actually, it's just a really good idea to make sure your hair doesn't fly all over the place and is protected from those dramatic weather conditions we sometimes have here in the Netherlands.
