Ugh, why me? Exercising for work. Or exercising DURING work? So working while exercising. Didn't I say I have the best job EVER?
Anyways, OneFit then. With OneFit, you can exercise unlimited at more than 100 locations in Amsterdam for just € 59,- per month. Exploring my new city while exercising sounds like music to my ears. I think I can do it.
And even more good news, because as a member of H&M Club, you now pay only €29.50 for the first month of exercising at OneFit. Perfect, of course, to try out the sports you've always wanted to do. I also stepped out of my comfy zone, tried some new classes, and lined up the best ones for you.
When do you start?
Kickboxing – Ettaki Gym
Dressed in my new flashy H&M outfit, I cycled in full gear on what I think was the hottest day of the year (okay, I'm exaggerating) to my workout location. Because what had been on my workout wishlist for a long time (I got a pair of boxing gloves for my thirtieth), was finally going to happen.
So I can tell you: after an hour of smashing, my boxing gloves and I have been married since that evening. I'm in love. I have the punching virus. Kickboxing, I love it.
Pole dancing – Pole Dance Factory
Gêne aside, short shorts that show your butt: let’s do this. Pole dancing. According to Miss Super Tight, I had enough strength in my body, so I could hang upside down on that pole. So said, so done, there I was hanging. Upside down, with my butt peeking out of the shorts.
Richer by an experience and a whole bunch of bruises (in places you think; how did you get that? Well, from pole dancing, of course.) I walked out the door super sexy. I'm going to do this more often.
Hot Yoga – Spa Zuiver
Anyway, I’m a big fan of yoga. It’s one of the few ways to completely relax. I prefer to do it in the evening, so I can dive into my bed completely zen. Still, I wanted to step out of the yoga comfy zone. Hot Yoga then, that seemed like something for me… During Hot Yoga, classic yoga poses and breathing exercises are combined with heat. Training in a warm room makes your muscles much more flexible. The exercises ensure that your muscle strength, balance, stamina, and flexibility are improved. No experience is needed for this class. Highly recommended.
WOD – Reebok Crossfit 020
Keep going until the light goes out? Then you definitely need to do an hour of crossfit. For me, it’s definitely: only if I really can’t go on anymore, can I go home. Well, I can tell you, I pushed myself to the limit. And I slept through the night for the first time in ages. There’s no better nightcap.
