Fashion dilemma of the week

What do I wear with this changeable weather?

From slippery to driving home on the highway during a hailstorm to getting off your bike to take off that slightly too warm jacket. There's a good chance you found yourself in both situations last week. And no, you haven't been on a week's vacation during the May holiday. We're just talking about the weather in our own country. Which is currently behaving quite unpleasantly and especially very changeably.

Such a changeable day calls for a versatile outfit. What works well are layers in your outfit. Not only a super cool trend, but also ideal when even the weather app on your iPhone can't tell you whether it's going to be sunny or chilly. The fun of creating layers is that you can mix many different materials, colors, and prints together. Do you need a slightly less striking look? You can also play nicely with the ton sur ton trend with layers. Just make sure the colors are really the same, otherwise things can clash again. And that's not the intention, of course. In terms of materials, you can go all out. From lace to metallic: let the mixing and matching begin!

The bomber is currently very popular, and you see the coolest versions coming by more and more often. Including lace. Wear a nice blouse in the same shade under the bomber to keep it from being too busy. And when the sun shines, you quickly pull your sunglasses out of your bag and take that bomber jacket off. The embroidery on your blouse adds an extra detail so that no one misses your jacket.

If the weather forecasts aren't entirely clear, a sweater is always good and fun. Wear a top under the sweater. If the sun decides to shine, you've already prepared for plan B. And that edge of your T-shirt should definitely be seen. Layers, remember? A skirt and sneakers underneath, and I say: you can easily handle those weather gods in the coming days.
