Here is the Talisman
Whether I wanted to take a look at the latest addition to the Renault family: the Talisman. You know, I love Renault and have had the chance to drive many models. Read here about our adventures with the Renault Twingo, or here about my vacation in that ultra-luxurious Espace or here about how Jet overcame her driving anxiety and simply drove to Paris with the Kadjar. I almost forgot the Captur …
I now know that luxury and comfort are well taken care of in every Renault car. On to the Talisman which, also so luxurious, was picked up by our sales assistant Annick. She handed me the key and said the car was parked on the street. It was easy to recognize. First of all by its charming appearance with a long hood and low roof. But especially by its welcome greeting. When I (or actually the key) got closer, the mirrors opened alertly, the lights began to glow, the doors unlocked, and the driver's seat slid back so I could easily get in. Oh yes, and I heard the familiar Renault tune as a welcome greeting.
I placed my bag in the trunk. I could take a look at that right away. In Renault's own description, it states that it can fit four golf bags. Translated to my world, that's about 16 shoeboxes, definitely four suitcases, and easily three swim and sports bags from my girlfriend.
Back to the car. Equipped with the now so familiar and wonderfully large screen on which you can set everything as you like. Seat heating? Present. Seat ventilation? Yes indeed. Seat massage? Guys, this is going to be such a delightful ride.
There is plenty of space between me and my co-driver (in this case, sales director Daniëlle) thanks to the wide console that of course has holders to place our drinks. And in our door pockets, there is enough space for a stash of licorice and black-and-white balls. We are really into that when we sit in the car for a long time. While driving, we discover that there is a cooled compartment in the console. For your can of cola light. Speaking of luxury and comfort…
When we arrive at our destination, it is dark, but the lights of the Talisman stay on (even now that it is locked and the mirrors are folding in) until we are safely inside.
Dear Talisman, something tells me that we are going to have a great time together. Paris, Milan; with you, it's never too far for me.
