I sell my designer clothes

(Not everything of course... but certainly some)

Good. Yesterday I went to the cinema with my daughters. I had bought the tickets online, but in the cinema itself we could of course indulge in snacks. A candy bag was filled, popcorn was placed on a tray, we bought a large bottle of water and, well, a bottle of cola light for me.

I waved my ticket above the screen (I find that so easy, you just have no idea that you are paying) and I already tasted whether we had really taken the salty and not the sweet popcorn. “Uh, ma'am…” The cashier looked a bit confused at the screen. No balance. No balance??? That hasn't happened to me since I had children and I thought I had to be grown-up and responsible. I had my other card at home and apparently, the companies Pathé and American Express are not friends, because I couldn't use it.

As lightly as possible, I handed the tray of food back to the cashier. “Mom, will that lady bring us our drinks nicely when we are sitting in our seats in the hall?” She asked that seriously. Okay, for her perception of the world, it might be good to experience that money can also run out at the end of the bill. I will rub this piece from Renske under her little snobby nose right away...

The reason for this meager situation is that I have been quite rough this week at Claes Iversen. Yes, that long dress with the pleated back. And that heavy blue embroidered skirt, I liked that too. Furthermore, a green sweater with daisies embroidered on it and a matching pleated skirt. All of it had to come along. As a result, we ate sandwiches with cream cheese in the cinema instead of crispy popcorn.

Now you don't have to feel sorry for me, really not. I still have a little bit of money and a husband who is a lot more responsible than I am when it comes to finances, so I don't have to eat dry bread. But still, I thought it was a good reason to get rid of some clothes. Beautiful things that I have dear memories of, but that I no longer wear or don't wear enough because they, well, just aren't really me.

Enter: Designer Vintage, my favorite when it comes to good designer gear for a sharp price and with amazing service. I let go of: Chanel espadrilles, my very first designer bag from Miu Miu, wonderful ballerinas from Lanvin (nothing wrong with that, I actually already regret giving them up) and so much more nice stuff. Anyway, go take a look. Here here is the link to my little boutique.

And when you shop, you also support a good cause. Indeed: popcorn and cola light!
