KIKI'S BABYCATS ARE GROWING UP

“AAAWH, their little eyes are open”

Little update: I am still in a hysterical state since my cat Luna gave birth to five mini-dollies. And since this week, the little munchkins have their eyes open and again I think I'm almost dying from love.

Unfortunately, the mini-Lunas are at my boyfriend's in Epe, so I really have to make do with the weekends. But when grandma Kiki is finally in the building, the roof will come off and we'll be dancing. Then Sander (sorry not sorry) hardly gets any attention because I sit with those cats like an idiot for eight hours a day.

‘Oh god, then comes the judgment of the diva mother cat...’

The dollies have moved from the attic to the living room this weekend. To let them socialize nicely with ‘the people’ and okay, because it's a party to watch them so half the neighborhood wants to come by. I get it. And so a new, shiny cat paradise had to be created. My love and I rush to the store for a new rug, a basket, toys, and some Yarrah (organic cat food that mother cat is WILD about). Then we quickly stop by Action where we find a mini tent for cats with ZEBRA PRINT for three euros. I am in love with zebra print and Action for these kinds of reasons.

Okay, once home, Operation Cat Paradise begins. We carefully pick up the little ones one by one, distract Luna with some food, and set up the play area as fast as possible. Before the little ones even realize it, they are already lying on a new, fluffy white rug. And oh god, then Luna is done eating and the judgment of the diva mother cat comes. She looks a bit bewildered at the zebra tent (if she could raise one eyebrow, she definitely would have) seems to come to the conclusion that we have indeed dropped a pretty badass house for her kids and then lies down with a satisfied grin to purr with her offspring. At such a moment, you have to spontaneously high five, take dozens of photos and videos, and pop open a bottle of wine. We did a great job, oh yes.
