People often react a bit surprised when I say that PAUW (besides Players, Azzurro Due, and Shoebaloo) is my favorite store. “Isn't that for women over fifty?” is the standard response that I always bounce back with the standard line: “And when was the last time you were there?”

At PAUW they sell J Brand jeans, Irie Wash (my favorite brand because it's good for every occasion, doesn't wrinkle, and blazers can even go in the washing machine), Joseph, Vince, but also Dries van Noten and Marni. They usually don't have those in stock.

My look today is almost entirely PAUW. The skinny jeans are from J Brand and the ultra-thin top with a paisley-like print is from Dries van Noten. I combine it with a jacket made of super soft denim and my good old yellow Fendi pumps that I got at my other favorite hangout; Shoebaloo.

Just a bit about the bag. It's actually a laptop bag disguised as a clutch. Ideal if you're on a business trip and you carry your MacBook during the day and want to have a nice little bag with you for dinner in the evening. It was designed by Amsterdam women and is called ROSE + NINE. I'm such a fan that I've even pushed aside my Chanel laptop case for it.
