This beauty is from our fashion friend Olcay Gulsen. Olcay is currently one of the coolest fashion designers. We are absolutely in love with her ST. studio collection and we would love to move the entire collection straight into our own wardrobe. How many bags do you have?

“Pfff, I honestly wouldn't know exactly. I do know that when buying a bag, I always try to go for a classic. They are often big expenses and I don't want to just buy a trend item. Over the last few years, I've been increasingly investing in classics, items that will last a lifetime and that I will still wear with just as much love in ten years as I do now.”

What is the story behind this bag?

“This bag is from our recently launched ST. studio collection. For The Frame Bag, we were inspired by the geometric shapes in architecture. I love that the shape is so strong, especially because the entire collection is aimed at real character women. We also took into account the wish of many women, who would prefer to have their designer bag in multiple colors. The Frame Bag has a two-sided character, as one side is made of smooth leather and the other of textured leather in multiple color options. Two different straps are also included, so you can really adapt your bag to your look.”

How do you handle your bag?

“Neat, but I do drag along everything I think I need…”

What about the content?

“I try to stay practical, but you always end up carrying more than necessary.”

What do you always have with you?

“Definitely my new Samsung S6 Edge phone – I would go crazy without it – my tablet, lip stuff from Grown Alchemist (right now the Watermelon & Vanilla is my favorite), hand cream from Grown Alchemist Persian Rose & Argan, my perfume (currently I’m using Histoires de Parfums – Édition Rare Fidelis), I also use the moisturizer from Pestle & Mortar daily, of course my car keys and there’s always some jewelry lying around at the bottom.”

What do you think are the best features of a bag?

“It has to be stylish, timeless, and wearable and match my look and mood.”

Which one is still on your wishlist?

“I’m currently so busy with the launch of my new line that I have little time to shop or even put together a wishlist. But I do have a vintage ring with gemstones addiction these days, I buy them all online.”
