Fashion dilemma of the week

How do I make my summery outfit office proof?

Have you spent your past few mornings in front of your closet with your hands in your hair and with a sweaty upper lip? I get it. The weather forecast (in Europe at least) hasn’t been all too great in the mornings, but we still want to wear something that will allow us to work on our color during our office breaks outside. We’d prefer to spend as much time outside as possible, but unfortunately work duty calls, which means, what can you wear which is both great for when it’s hot out, but also appropriate at the office? Can you rock bare legs or not? How about bold colors? All you have to do is check out everything below and order your favorite pieces. That way you’ll show up at the office next week whether you’re outside enjoying the sun or indoors for an important business meeting.

A skirt at the office is always a good idea. Odds are, you usually wear it with tights on underneath. But since the temperatures are up, you can ditch the tights because it’s time for bare legs. But be aware that you don’t show too much skin. Combine your skirt with a comfortable oversized blouse and wear a lace bra underneath for an extra hip detail.

A loose fitted jumpsuit is perfect for warm days at the office. Nothing too tight but the perfect piece to look stylish throughout the day. Still looking for the right one? Go for one in a neutral color that doesn’t show too much skin. Cut-out details and summery prints are fun, but perhaps better kept for the beach. Wear your jumpsuit with a leather jacket to add that extra bit of edge.
